The Respro® anti-allergy mask has been developed with hypersensitive people in mind.
For some people, sensitivity to chemicals and particles can be completely debilitating. Chemicals and particles that induce debilitating symptoms are not rare, but are found in everyday items in everyday environments. Cleaning products, perfumes, paint, cigarette smoke, pollen, animal dander, fabric softeners and detergents can severely affect the well-being of people who are sensitive to chemicals or airborne particles.
All materials used in the Respro® Allergy mask are known to be inert and unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. The mask material is ultra-lightweight and air permeable, allowing the face to breathe easily. Techno™ valves are made of polypropylene with medical grade silicone rubber diaphragms. The Hepa-Type™ filter, also made of polypropylene, filters out fine submicron respirable dust (less than 1 micron in size).
These positive aspects, combined with its performance and comfort, have earned the Respro® Allergy mask the British Allergy Foundation's "Allergy Friendly Product" award.
Note: This mask SHOULD NOT be used for INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS where a device complying with European Directive 89/686 or 89/656 is required. It should only be used to reduce discomfort caused by exposure to, non-toxic particles where the concentrations do not exceed the National permissible exposure limit for the work place.
